Easy, Inexpensive Holiday Decorating Ideas

Today, I’m sharing some photos of my holiday table. I wanted to decorate with natural elements on the cheap. If you’re looking for some last-minute easy, inexpensive holiday decorating ideas, I hope this helps you!

I bought nine little fish-bowl vases at the Dollar Store ($9 total). Then, I clipped some evergreen boughs from our backyard (free). I added a few branches of eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s ($2.99 for one bunch). Added a little water. Voila! Elegant, easy, cheap. I made 9 fishbowl table decorations PLUS one for the kitchen island (see below) for a total of $12.

The table is set using my grandma’s silverware and the white Crate & Barrel plates that my family uses every day. I bought gold and silver chargers for underneath each plate to add some shine. (Those are about $2 each at Michael’s or other art supply stores.)

Earlier this month, I staged my outdoor decor: The pots I’ve had for years (Target), simply filled with spruce tips, birch branches, and a few other little re-usable items. Easy!

Oh, and I made one more for in our entryway… more birch logs, some greenery clipped from the backyard, and some $5 glimmer lights. Easy peasy!
